Updating passwords and modifying your own account.

Change password

To modify a password when you are already logged in:

  1. Navigate to the avatar dropdown menu located at the top right of the screen;

  2. Click Settings;

  3. Click Security;

  4. Enter your current password;

  5. Enter your current password again, as well as the new password, where requested;

  6. Click Save;


Reset password

Due to encryption protocols, an existing user password cannot be retrieved by the user, a system Administrator, or by Maintainly staff.

To reset a password:

  1. Navigate to the login page https://app.maintainly.com/login;

  2. Click I forgot your password;

  3. Enter the registered email address;

  4. An email will be sent to the user. Follow the prompts to create a new password.

TIP: If the reset password email does not arrive, contact your organisation's administrator to ensure the registered email address is correct.


Change an email address

To modify your email address:

  1. Navigate to the avatar dropdown menu located at the top right of the screen;

  2. Click Settings;

  3. Modify the email address;

  4. Click Save;

  5. Check your email account and then follow the prompts.


Update avatar icon

To add or update your avatar icon:

  1. Navigate to the avatar dropdown menu located at the top right of the screen;

  2. Click Settings;

  3. In the Image section, click Upload;

  4. Select the image or icon to be used;

  5. Click Save;


Session expiry - using remember me

All user sessions will expire when the user closes the browser (ie. you will be logged out) unless you check the remember me when logging in.
