What is a material kit?
When establishing preventative maintenance with the use of task templates and automations, a pre-defined material kit (spare part kits) can be added to a task template in advance.
Advantages of using material kits:
Administrators can define the full material kit that is applicable to preventative maintenance (via a task template) in advance of the work being performed;
When completing the task, users can use the quick add option to add the entire material kit to the task. This saves time because the user does not need to filter for and then select every single material that is required to be added to the task;
A report can be generated indicating estimated future material usage, based on the fact that we know when the (time-based automations) preventative maintenance will fall due, together with the quantity required of each material.
