Create a material kit

Each task template can have its own unique material kit.

When performing preventative maintenance tasks, the full kit can be added to the task using the Quick grab option on the Materials tab of the task.

To create a material kit on a task template:

  1. Navigate to Tasks > Task Templates;

  2. Filter for and then click on the applicable task template that requires the material kit;

  3. Click the Materials tab;

  4. Filter for and then click the material that is to be added to the material kit;

  5. Nominate the Quantity that will usually be consumed when performing the preventative maintenance task (this can be modified on the task if more or less were actually used when performing the work);

  6. Click Confirm.

Use a material part kit

  2. Filter for and then click on the applicable task;

  3. Click the Materials tab;

  4. If a material kit exists, the autograb option will be available.

  5. Click Yes;

  6. Select the Store from where the material inventory is to be deducted;

  7. Nominate the exact quantities that were used (nb. autograb can actually be used prior to the task work occurring);

  8. Click Confirm.

    NOTE: Inventory will be deducted from the store immediately upon being added to the task.
