It may become necessary to modify the title of a reactive task to correctly reflect the work that was or is to be performed.
Likewise, since Maintainly does not permit the deletion of tasks, it may be desirable to repurpose a task (instead of simply closing it), which usually means modifying the title of the task.
NOTE: The title of a task generated by an automation cannot be altered on an individual task basis. To modify the title for future instances of the automated task, the task title on the relevant task template will need to be modified.
To edit a task title:
Navigate to Tasks;
Filter for and then click the title of the task that is to be modified;
Click the three-dot menu located at the top right of screen;
Click Edit title and asset (on web) or Edit Title (on mobile);
Make the necessary changes to the title;
Click Save.
