Labels is the ultimate, flexible tool for identifying characteristics of tasks that fit your unique workflow, making the day-to-day planning & management of tasks a cinch!

Labels allow you to convey important planning and operations detail really quickly; things like whether a task is approved to commence, is on hold, is awaiting spare part delivery, or perhaps is already is work-in-progress.

On start-up, we'll add some default labels to get you started (but note that these may have already been changed by your administrator):

  • awaiting materials

  • wip

  • on hold (moved from the legacy on hold feature)

You may also see two additional default labels if you previously used the legacy task priority feature:

  • high

  • low

You'll want to consider what labels are best suited to your industry, unique workflow and task planning process. Some additional suggested labels include:

  • Awaiting release - awaiting managerial authority to commence work

  • Approved to proceed - managerial authority is given for the task to proceed

  • Contractor - issued or assigned to a 3d party contractor

Labels can complement the use of work types.
